Rolyx Pharma Founded to Address Ghana's Pharmaceutical Compounding, Distribution, and Supply Chain Gap

Rolyx Pharma has been formally founded as the pharmaceutical subsidiary of RORO Strategic Holdings, with an early-stage mandate to build local compounding, wholesale distribution, and supply chain infrastructure for essential medicines in Ghana.

Rolyx Pharma has been formally founded and incorporated in Ghana as the pharmaceutical subsidiary of RORO Strategic Holdings. The company enters one of Ghana's most critical and underserved sectors: pharmaceutical supply.

The company's founding thesis is straightforward: Ghana's healthcare system cannot be truly resilient until it builds domestic pharmaceutical capacity. Rolyx Pharma is positioning itself to contribute to that capacity by operating in pharmaceutical compounding, wholesale distribution, and longer-term, supporting local manufacturing initiatives.

In its earliest phase, the company is focused on licensing, regulatory positioning with the Ghana Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), and identifying the first distribution partnerships.

Rolyx Pharma is also designed to serve as the pharmaceutical supply partner for Carevyon's healthcare network — creating a vertically integrated healthcare value chain within the RORO group.

'Pharmaceutical access is a systemic problem in Ghana,' said the RORO Group Chairman. 'Rolyx Pharma is not entering this sector to trade. It is entering to build infrastructure. That takes longer, but it creates something that matters and that compounds in value over time.'
